What is
MK-677
MK-677, also known as ibutamoren, functions by stimulating the secretion of growth hormone (GH) and elevating insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) levels. It achieves this by mimicking the action of ghrelin, a hormone, and binding to one of the ghrelin receptors (GHSR) located in the brain. When GHSR is activated, it prompts the release of growth hormone from the brain.
