AOD-9604
AOD-9604 is a synthetic peptide that is derived from human growth hormone (HGH). It has been shown to have potential therapeutic effects on a range of conditions, including arthritis. Studies have shown that AOD-9604 can help reduce inflammation and joint damage in animal models of arthritis. In one study, AOD-9604 was shown to decrease the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) and interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β), in rats with rheumatoid arthritis. - Suggested Dosage
- Initiation: AOD-9604 therapy is initiated at a lower dose to promote tolerance and reduce potential side effects.
- Initial Dose: Begin with 0.25 mg (0.1 ml or 10 units) subcutaneously twice daily (BID) for the first two weeks.
- Titration: If well tolerated, increase the dose to 0.5 mg (0.2 ml or 20 units) subcutaneously twice daily after the initial two-week period.
- Maintenance: Continue with the increased dose of 0.5 mg (0.2 ml or 20 units) subcutaneously twice daily for ongoing support in weight management and metabolic enhancement.
- Duration: AOD-9604 is administered twice daily.
- Weeks 1-2: 0.25 mg (0.1 ml or 10 units) of AOD-9604 twice daily
- Week 3 and onwards: 0.5 mg (0.2 ml or 20 units) of AOD-9604 twice daily

Procedure

Reconstitution
- Draw 2 ml of sterile water into a syringe.
- Inject the sterile water into a vial containing 5 mg of AOD-9604 peptide.
- Gently swirl the vial until the peptide is fully dissolved.
- Administration
- Remove the cap from a tuberculin syringe.
- Draw the reconstituted AOD-9604 solution into the syringe to the required dosage (0.1 ml or 10 units initially, 0.2 ml or 20 units after titration).
- Clean the selected injection site with an alcohol swab.
- Pinch the sanitized skin and insert the needle at a 90-degree angle.
- Administer the injection subcutaneously.
- Repeat the above steps for the second daily dose.
- For next usage
- Store the remaining AOD-9604 solution in the refrigerator at 2-8°C.
- Before the next use, clean the vial top with an alcohol swab.
- Use a new syringe for each administration.
- Ensure to rotate injection sites (abdomen, thigh, or upper arm) to minimize skin irritation.
